The positive prevailing mood amongst exhibitors and stakeholders continues and augurs well for AERO 2011. More than 160 exhibitors from 18 countries have already secured exhibition space. With an international share of registrations of more than 40%, Europe’s foremost trade show for general aviation continues to underline its high level of international competence.
From Wednesday April 13 to Saturday April 16, 2011, major manufacturers from all sections of the general aviation industry, including companies such as Autogyro, Flight Design, Tecnam, Centurion and Shell, will, once again, present their products and services to high-caliber visitors. The entire glider manufacturing industry will be represented at AERO 2011. Companies such as Scheibe Aircraft, Alexander Schleicher Segelflugzeugbau and Schempp-Hirth Flugzeugbau GmbH have announced their participation in the event.
The Helicopter Hangar, which was well received by exhibitors in 2010, will move from Hall A6 to Hall B5 for AERO 2011. Two exhibition halls will be dedicated to all aspects of rotary-wing flight next year. Once again, focus will be on air rescue and the promotion of young talents. Simulated air rescue missions on Lake Constance will impressively demonstrate the performance of air rescue units, firefighters and water police. Top-class lectures and ground training lessons are intended to particularly give young people an insight into the aviation and helicopter sector. All those interested will be given the opportunity to directly apply the acquired knowledge in the simulator.
Ecological - electrical - evolutionary - that’s the motto of the E-Flight Expo to be held for the third time next year. Electravia, YUNNEC and PC-Aero are expected to participate. This highlight for the public and the media will be organized in cooperation with the World Directory of Leisure Aviation.
As part of our preparations for AERO 2011, exhibitors who already registered for participation will receive a preliminary hall plan showing the position of their booth. This service is scheduled to start on November 15, 2010. If you are interested in participating in AERO 2011, please register as soon as possible. We look forward to seeing you in Friedrichshafen next year!
