The AVIONICS AVENUE, a new special exhibition to be launched at AERO 2013, is very well received by manufacturers of avionics equipment. Garmin, a global leader in mobile navigation solutions, has committed itself to participating in AERO Friedrichshafen and the AVIONICS AVENUE for the next five years. In future, the company will be present in the new exhibition area in Hall 6 and has already announced a number of new products to be displayed at AERO 2013. In addition to Garmin, manufacturers such as Bendix King, Aspen Avionics, Bose, Lightspeed, Garrecht Avionik and Butterfly Avionics will exhibit in Hall 6.

The AVIONICS AVENUE deals extensively with avionics equipment including flight control and management systems, communications systems, navigation devices, displays, weather radar, and air and ground radar systems. We are also envisaging an avionics test area where visitors to the show can test the actual equipment in a dark room under night visual conditions and learn about new developments. The AVIONICS AVENUE will be rounded off within the Aero Conferences by lectures and workshops on the subject of “The cockpit of the future”.

With the new AVIONICS AVENUE and the ENGINE AREA in Hall A5, which will again be organized in cooperation with the German fliegermagazin, AERO Friedrichshafen offers two attractive special exhibitions which we plan to extend continuously in the future.
