European Air Ambulance Meeting more up-to-date and important than ever before
We cordially invite you to the II. European Air Ambulance Meeting on April 15, 2011 during the AERO in Friedrichshafen.
High profile speakers from administrations, air rescue, armed forces medical institutions and the industry will present the coordinated efforts of all rescue assets in an attractive conference program.
"A Changing World!" We see it, we feel it, and in these days it is on our minds more than ever before. "A safe feeling" is what we demand as patient who wants to go home, as victim of a natural disaster, who needs help fast, but also as the soldier who suffers an injury in combat. The one-day workshop focuses on fast help from the air, on the airplanes, the helicopters and the additional necessary tools.
The German Ministry of Defense State Secretary Thomas Kossendey has accepted this year's meeting’s patronage. Chairmen during the event will be Friedrich Rehkopf, CEO of ADAC Air Rescue, and Dr. Jörg Binnewies, Surgeon General in the German Air Force. Among the speakers will be General Reinhard Wolski, Chief of Army Aviation, Christoph Unger, President of the BBK, Dr. Norbert Lohl, EASA Director, Udo Kordeuter, ...., Dr. Markus Trosin of the DRF Air Rescue, as well as Dr. Ulrich Werner, Medical Director German Air Force and physicians from the Armed Forces Hospital Ulm.
An additional focus during the II. European Air Ambulance Meetings is on the "rescue chain". Following the German Government's decision, the NH90 MedEvac will be active in this chain as the currently still missing first link, followed by other proven AirMedEvac assets for the repatriation of patients, such as the CH-53, the Transall or the Airbus.
The Armed Forces' Medical Service will have the opportunity to present its challenging work especially to young people to inform them about possible professions.
With the current situation and the increasing number of natural disasters in view the European Air Ambulance Meeting 2011 is more up-to-date and important than ever before.
