AERO 2012 will also offer a new option for visitors who decide to make a trip to the trade show but prefer not to book a hotel – the “AERO Tent City” indoor campground. Sponsored by the German outdoor supplier VAUDE (www.vaude.com), Rothaus Hall A1 will house the AEROTent City (April 18 - 21, 2012), where attendees arriving by plane or car can rent one of the ready-to-use tents to sleep in right at the exhibition grounds. One- and two-person tents will be available for a small fee including breakfast service (for approx. 150 guests) and can be booked online here from the end of February 2012 onwards.    More

"Everything that flies" will be the theme at AERO Friedrichshafen in 2012. You will once again be given the opportunity to marvel at the latest models, electric aircraft and other alternative propulsion technologies, which the exhibitors will show off in flight over the close-by airport grounds on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 1.30 pm till 2.30 pm. The range of products will include ultralights, single and multi-engine aircraft, helicopters and gyrocopters. A large visitor area near the Zeppelin Hangar will offer a perfect view of the flight demonstrations. Starting March 2012, demo flight details and a list of demo flight exhibitors will be available under "Supporting programme".   More
