This year, Vimana GmbH is offering a wide range of ICAO language examinations on site at AERO 2024 for the first time. Both initial and renewal exams for English and/or German can be taken. The examination can be conducted as an open-ended examination (Level 4 to Level 6), in which the ICAO language level is awarded on the basis of the performance shown up to Level 6, or as a closed examination (Level 4 only). In the latter case, the ICAO language level is limited to level 4. The language tests are carried out within the framework of Language Testing Body 112 (LTB112), whose supervisory authority is the Austrian AustroControl GmbH, and comply with the EASA standards published in AMC 1 Part-FCL.055 in accordance with EU (Regulation) 2019/1747.
