Conference Overview: Facing a new era in General Aviation: the Integrated Safety.

In the realm of aircraft design, the concept of crashworthiness holds significant importance. An approach where the aircraft design philosophy  goes beyond risk detection to includes the entire emergency timeline, ensuring occupant survival. BRS is a cornerstone in this strategy,  warranting additional attention be placed on safeguarding lives during unforeseen events.

With over 486 lives saved, BRS has proven its value—yet its potential reaches far beyond its current use when integrated into a comprehensive crash survival strategy.

The three key main phases of an Integrated Safety will be approach:

Pre-crash

Crash Even

Port Crash

BRS Aerospace, in cooperation with the National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) at Wichita State University (WSU) are at the forefront of developing and validating this integrated safety model.

With systems like BRS and simulation-driven design, we’re entering a future where more GA pilots and passengers will not just survive the unexpected—they’ll walk away from it.
