Business Aviation

Business aviation is an important part of the global air transportation system. You can look forward to seeing well-known exhibitors at the Static Display again this year!

As an individual means of transport, it offers direct flights to meet the needs of business travelers, specialists and private travelers. Around 10 percent of all business aviation flights in Europe are for humanitarian purposes, such as transporting seriously ill people, medical personnel and life-saving transplant organs. During the coronavirus pandemic, ambulance jets flew coronavirus intensive care patients from regions with overcrowded hospitals to regions where intensive care capacity was available, thus saving lives. Business jets transported vaccines to remote areas and islands around the world, including Europe.

The global business aviation fleet currently includes around 23,000 business jets and around 15,000 turboprop-powered aircraft.
