The AERO General Aviation Academy took place for the first time as part of the 30th anniversary edition of AERO Friedrichshafen. The AERO GA Academy is characterized by high-quality training and further education offers in various areas of aviation. Every day, 20 lectures will be offered on topics such as powered flight, gliding, engine theory, instrument flight, meteorology, aviation law and insurance.
The AERO GA Academy was organized in cooperation with Herwart Goldbach, instructor for flight instructor training and flight instructor training.
It covers the following topics: Engine knowledge, airspace, air law, insurance, mental training, human factors, meteorology, powered and gliding flight in the Swiss Alps, national air defense, BFU topics, upgrade to IFR rating and much more.
