Electric Book & Claim is a new market mechanism designed as an alternative to SAF Book & Claim for aviation decarbonisation, supporting the fueling of electric aircraft instead of turbofan jets.
By separating the environmental benefits of electric flight from the physical aircraft operation, verified emissions reductions from electric aircraft can be allocated to other aviation stakeholders through digital certificates. This enables business jet operators to reduce reported emissions while directly supporting the scale-up of zero-emission electric aviation.
Aerovolt CEO Philip Kingsley-Dobson will demonstrate the Electric Book & Claim platform and explain how it addresses one of the key barriers to aviation decarbonisation: unlocking new funding for zero-emission flight.
