TowFLEXX is a manufacturer of electric aircraft tugs for light to cargo aircraft up to 86 tons.
With over 20 years of experience in the market, TowFLEXX started back then as "SchleppMAXXE" and focused for many years exclusively on towing equipment for aircraft up to 4 tons take-off weight. However, a request from the Swiss military led to the enhancement of the portfolio, the start into the market of towbarless, remote-controlled towing equipment opening the doors into the international business, which has been steadily and successfully expanded for several years now. As customers we are proud to count not only many clubs, private owners and old acquaintances but also the US Armed Forces, NASA, Bombardier, Tecnam, Textron and many more.
The unique feature especially of the radio-controlled units is the unique 360° technology, which keeps the nose wheel always in the direction of travel and thus can prevent damage due to over-turning. Furthermore, all TowFLEXX tugs (unlike competitors) do not require any hydraulics at all, ensuring virtually maintenance-free operation.
