Skyhawk Aviation is presenting a new performance-optimized winglet for Cessna 172, 182 and 206 aircraft at AERO Friedrichshafen 2026.

The new winglet is being developed with a strong focus on climb performance, low-speed handling and aerodynamic efficiency. The design process includes 3D scanning of the original wingtip geometry, parametric CAD modeling and CFD-based aerodynamic analysis.

The winglet is designed as a direct replacement for the original fiberglass wingtip and is being developed under an EASA Supplemental Type Certificate certification pathway. Initial certification work is focused on later camber-lift models, with further model coverage planned to follow.

In addition to its own winglet program, Skyhawk Aviation is active in aircraft engineering and modification development under the EASA regulatory framework.

Visitors can see the new winglet at the Skyhawk Aviation stand in Hall A2, Stand A2-300.
