About me

Jérémy Caussade: the sky, boldness and innovation Born in the Basque Country in South-West France, Jérémy Caussade discovered his passion for flying at an early age, and started with gliding before becoming a private pilot. With a master's degree in fluid dynamics from Paul-Sabatier University in Toulouse, he began his career at Altran, before joining Airbus where he held key positions in flight testing, certification, and digital transformation. In 2018, driven by a bold vision, he co-founded AURA AERO with Wilfried Dufaud and Fabien Raison. Their ambition: to revolutionize aviation by designing electric and hybrid aircraft that are both performing and environment-friendly. The two-seater INTEGRAL, intended for training and aerobatics, marks the first milestone in this adventure. Next will come ERA (Electric Regional Aircraft), a 19-seater regional aircraft, whose maiden flight is scheduled for 2027. At every stage, Jérémy moves forward with the same conviction, guided by a motto that has become a second nature to him, borrowed from French writer André Dacier: “Saying it right makes people laugh, doing it right makes them shut up.” No great speeches, just proof. And it works: hundreds of orders, government support through France 2030, and a team that has grown to over 250 people. But Jérémy Caussade is not only focused on the future. He maintains strong ties to the history of aviation as co-founder and president of Réplic’Air, an association that rebuilds historic aircraft. This dual perspective—on history and innovation—has made him one of the leading figures in European aviation today. Pilot, entrepreneur, builder... but always true to his values. And to his course.
