If you fly with a private aircraft to the Bodensee Airport Friedrichshafen during the show days of AERO Friedrichshafen (April 9th – 12th) you need a slot for arrival and departure.You need to pre-register yourself online through the booking tool here.
Important: ONLY pre-registered users, can participate at the slot booking procedure!
This mandatory pre-registration ensures a fairer distribution of available slots. Users can also change their details in their account. As in previous years, pilots flying to AERO will again receive a free 1-day trade fair ticket code this year.
From March 5th, all registered users will be automatically informed in blocks by the booking system when they can access the slot booking system via a link by e-mail to book and purchase slots.
As demand generally exceeds slot capacity, slots are booked on a random computerised basis. If you do not receive any slots in the booking process for Friedrichshafen, we recommend switching to our neighbouring partner airfields, most of which are equipped with shuttle connections to AERO Friedrichshafen.
For ULs, we recommend the nearest UL airfield in Markdorf or Constance.
How to get to the fairground?
There will be free bus shuttles driving from the airport Friedrichshafen to the pilot’s entrance from the Messe Friedrichshafen.

Segelfliegergruppe Markdorf e.V. offers in cooperation with Messe Friedrichshafen landing possibilites for ultralight aircraft (3-axle piloted, trikes and gyroplanes) during AERO 2025 from Wednesday April 9, 2025 until Saturday April 12, 2025. Typical piston powered light aircraft and motor gliders are not permitted on the site.
Due to a change in the airfield approval, the approach is only possible with PPR. For this purpose, registration must be made beforehand online. To avoid congestion at the airfield during peak hours, the planned landing and take-off time must be indicated.
